All it takes is one agent to have a great idea. That is how KW Maine got involved with Ronald McDonald House in Portland, ME.
Dan Fahey, a member of the Scott and Sunny Townsend Team put out a Facebook post looking for volunteer opportunities at Ronald McDonald House. So many people were interested that we have since been able to commit to helping once a month.
What do we do?
As a group we come up with a menu, do the grocery shopping and prepare dinner for all the family members staying at Ronald McDonald House. If they are staying there they have a sick child at the local hospital, to say they are going through a tough time is an understatement. Every month we look forward to being able to give a night of our time to provide families with a delicious warm meal.
