Red Day 2024!

Updated: Apr 16

Red Day was first introduced by Keller Williams in 2009 as a way to commemorate and honor the company's commitment to serving the communities where its associates live and work. Red Day stands for "Renew, Energize, and Donate," and it is a day dedicated to giving back to local communities.

The second Thursday in May each year, every KW office around the globe shuts down so that its agents and employees can volunteer their time and resources to support various charitable activities and community service projects, promoting a culture of giving and making a positive impact in neighborhoods across the globe.

Last year Janice Ryder, team leader of Lifestyle Properties, organized an event to reach as many corners of our great state as possible. You could find KW agents and their friends and family members cleaning, painting, building, capturing creatures and anything else that was needed at Sweetser in Brunswick & Saco, Togus VA Center in Augusta, the Androscoggin Hospice House, the McArthur Home in North Yarmouth, Cape Elizabeth & Scarborough helping residents clean up and other KW teams such as the Scott & Sunny Townsend, Mateja & ABODE Teams held their own events as well.

Every year, as Red Day winds down, everyone goes home exhausted, smiling with full hearts and already looking forward to next year. We hope to see you there!
